So without any further ado, here are this week’s top 3 stories according to us here at Radical Marketing Solutions.
Here’s the problem. It’s against Google’s terms of service to buy links for the sole purpose of higher rankings. This time Google got caught violating their own rules. It’s another case of, do as I say and not as I do.
2. Google puts themselves in the corner for buying links: After Google was “outed” for using paid links to dominate the organic search results for the term “browser”, Google punishes themselves by lowering their page rank for 60 days.
As Of January 3, 2012, Google Chrome fell from the number one spot on Google for the term “browser” to #73.
3. Marketing Predictions For 2012: It wouldn’t seem right if we did not include a list of the top marketing predictions for 2012. As you might imagine there are a ton of predictions.
Luckily the folks over at Ravens Tools listed over 300 marketing, SEO and social media predictions for 2012.
