SEO Website Design: 6 Ways To Get More Clients Calling Your Office Today!

It’s been said the simplest things often make the biggest impact and no truer words have been spoken then when it comes to SEO and SEO website design.
And here’s the thing, it doesn’t get much simpler than making sure your phone number is predominately displayed on your website so your prospects can call you, right?
Now with that said, I’m going to share with you 6 very simple strategies you can use to get your phones ringing off the hook so you can start making more money today!
1. Make sure your phone number is on your website. I know, this almost sounds silly doesn’t it? HOWEVER, you would be surprised how many client’s I’ve worked with who failed to list their phone number on their website. There are others who have buried their phone number on the footer or some other obscure web page where it’s nearly impossible to find which brings me to my next point…
2. Make sure your phone number is “above the fold” on your website. Above the fold means the things you can see on your computer screen immediately after bringing up your website. If you need to scroll down to see the content it’s not above the fold. This is an old newspaper term where the newspaper is folded in half with the most important news and headlines at the top.
3. Make certain your phone number is listed on every single page of your website. There will be times when your prospects and customers find your website through a different web page other than your home page. People are finicky online, if they don’t find what they’re looking for right away you’ll run the risk of losing your customer. One way around this is to put your phone number on the header of your website so it’s above the fold and displays on all of your web pages.
4.Add your phone number to your meta description tags. In our SEO basics lessons I explained the importance of crafting an SEO meta description tag. In addition to using your keywords and compelling offers in your tag, it’s also a good idea to add your phone number. The reason you’ll want to do this is because your phone number will be displayed in the search results page of the search engines and your prospect wont even have to click onto your site to find your phone number!
5.Add a “Contact Us” and an “About Us” page to your website. It’s important to make your website drop dead simple for your prospects to use. Adding a “contact us” page and an “about us” page with your contact information including your address, phone number and email is a great way for your customers to find your information easily.
6. Make an offer in exchange for the phone call. This last one is really important and something almost NONE of your competitors are doing and that’s, Making an offer in exchange for a phone call.
What I usually see is something like… “Call our office today” or “Call today to book an appointment.”
HOLY SMOKES! Makes you want to rush to the phone and call right away doesn’t it?
Why not offer some sort of coupon, discount, or FREE report in exchange for the phone call?
This is how you DOMINATE your competition… Doing the little things that NO one else is doing.
You see, this is really where your SEO efforts payoff– BIG TIME! You can get all the traffic in the world but if your customers aren’t taking the action you want ( Picking up the phone and calling your business), you’re leaving money on the table!
