Customized Marketing Solutions : How To Leverage The Power Of Business Blogs Into Your Current Business!

One of the most frequently asked questions I get on business blogging as a customized marketing solution is how to implement it into a current marketing strategy.
In other words how should I integrate my business blog into my marketing plan?
You see, it really depends on a few things.
Do you currently have website for your business or are you starting your business website from scratch?
The way I see it you really only have three different options here when it comes to leveraging the power of business blogs.
Let’s go over all three, OK?
Your first choice is to create your business blog as an entirely separate website on it’s own domain. For example, you already have a business website and you choose to use your name as the domain name for your new business blog. Your business blog will be a totally separate website. So if your business website looks like this; www.yourbusinesswebsite.com now you’ll add another domain and set up your business blog like this; www.yournamebusinessblog.com.
Make sense?
Your second choice is to create your business blog as a subdomain or sub-directory of your existing business website. What I mean by this is you already have a business website so you install your blog in a subdirectory of your existing domain name. I don’t want to lose you with all this “techie” talk but you have probably seen where blogs set up in this fashion because it looks something like this: www.yourbusinesswebsite.com/blog.
Now your third and final option is to completely replace your current business website with a brand new business blog. In other words you transfer your web pages and content from your existing static html website over to a blogging platform. So now your entire business website is a business blog.
Over the next few days I’ll go over each example in a little more detail and give you my thoughts on each one. I’ll also reveal which choice I feel is the best for your business and why!
So let me know how you currently have your business blog or business website set up ok? Let me know what you love about it and what you are not crazy about. Just leave your comments in the comment box below or let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them for you!
Sound good? Great!
So until next time…
