Over the last few posts you’ve discovered how important it is to plan your small business SEO campaigns.
Not only will you get a higher ROI from your SEO campaigns, you’ll also save yourself a ton of time and frustration too!.
Hopefully by now you’ve created your “SEO Blue Print“ and at least one “SEO money page“ using one of your primary keywords.
If you haven’t made it this far yet, no worries, just catch up when you can and continue to follow along with your tips.
In today’s tip you’ll discover how to start promoting your money pages once you’re ready.
One huge shift in the way Google is ranking sites these days is by tightly themed websites.
In other words if you own a dog training school, Google expects to see related content to dog training.
So let’s take the dog training marketplace as an example.
Let’s say after looking at your SEO Blue Print your first primary keyword is “dog training.”
Let’s also assume you’ve already created your the SEO money page for this keyword and now you’re ready to promote this page.
The first thing you’ll want to do is head over to Google and type “dog training” into the Google search box.
You’ll be shown the top 10 results for dog training and you’ll also notice a link right below the search box called “show options.”
Once you click the “show options link,” you’ll be given another set of navigation links on the left side of your screen. You’ll scroll down until you find the section called “standard view”
Next you’ll want to click the link called “Wonder wheel” ( see the red arrow above) and you’ll be shown the image below:
Notice Google gives you eight other keyword terms related to the search term ” dog training.”
Make note of these eight terms on your SEO blue print and label them “related keywords” under “dog training.”
Now you’ll want to create content around these eight keyword terms linking back to your target URL or “money page” for dog training.
Just rinse and repeat for your remaining primary keywords.
One thing you’ll notice is you can click each term and you’ll be given a new set of words to create content around.
Using this powerful strategy you’ll NEVER run out of SEO friendly content ideas. You’ll also create a tightly themed website that Google loves!
Now go dominate Google, Bill Parlaman
