Business Blogging : Discover The Second Way To Integrate A Business Blog Into Your Online Marketing Efforts

So the second way to integrate your business blog into your current online marketing plan is to add the blog as a subdomin or subfolder of your current website.

In other words your business blog’s web address will look something like this….www.mydomain.com/blog or www.blog.mydomain.com.

You’ll just have to create a folder under your main domain name and install your blog in the folder.

Then you’ll just have to post a link on you home page to your business blog, pretty easy right?

This is a pretty good option if you do not want to run a completely sepearate website along with your main website.

However, there are some things you should consider before going this route.

You’ll want to make sure your blog and main website match one another visually.

You don’t want your site looking one way and your blog looking completely different.  You’ll want to make sure your blog is congruent with your main website.

The other thing you’ll want to think about is by hooking your blog to your website you’ll lose external links coming into your main site from you blog.

However, you’ll still be able to internally link your business blog and main website and writing blog posts regularly will help your main website be found.

Because after all, if your customers and prospects cant find your website, what good is it anyway?

So tomorrow I’ll go over the third way you can integrate your business blog into your current marketing campaign, OK?

Oh and by the way, the final way is by far the most powerful and best way to integrate a business blog into your marketing efforts.

Now get busy, Bill Parlaman
